Our Mission
Athletes of Faith is a family‑owned company dedicated to inspiring children and families to get outside, get active, and build confidence through movement. Our purpose is to create meaningful experiences that encourage faith, resilience, and personal growth — whether through active play, athletic skill‑building, or community‑driven programs. We are committed to removing barriers that keep children from embracing healthy, active lifestyles and to fostering a community where faith, purpose, and movement come together to strengthen the whole child.
Our Story
Athletes of Faith was founded in San Diego, CA in 2023 by siblings Thomas and Nalani Muniz — two athletes whose journeys were shaped by passion, perseverance, and unwavering faith. From childhood days at the local recreation center to competing at the club and collegiate levels, their athletic paths were filled with triumphs, setbacks, and defining moments. Through ACL tears, meniscus injuries, ankle sprains, and the mental battles that come with competitive sports, faith was always their anchor.
Their experiences revealed a truth they both carried deeply: movement builds confidence, adversity builds character, and faith strengthens the whole journey. They created Athletes of Faith to open the conversation around belief in the athletic community — a conversation often overlooked but deeply felt — and to support children and families in embracing active, healthy lifestyles grounded in purpose.
Today, Athletes of Faith is more than a company. It’s a movement dedicated to helping children get outside, get active, and discover the joy of movement. Through programs like Camp AoF, the company empowers youth to build physical skills, strengthen resilience, and grow socially, emotionally, and spiritually. Athletes of Faith exists to unite families and young athletes who draw strength from faith — whether spiritual or personal — and to nurture a community where purpose fuels confidence, connection, and lifelong well‑being.
